Dutch – translations and lessons
Although Dutch is not a world language, it is still the mother tongue of about 23 million people in Europe, of which about 17 million live in the Netherlands and about 6 million in Belgium. Also outside the Netherlands and Belgium Dutch is spoken by approximately 1 million people, more precisely in Suriname, Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles (Bonaire, Curaçao and Sint Maarten), where it is an official language. Afrikaans, one of the official languages of South Africa, originates from Dutch and is not difficult to understand for Dutch speakers.
Knowing Dutch offers many advantages in Bulgaria. During the last decade many contact centers have settled in Bulgaria, especially in the capital Sofia, to serve the Dutch and Belgian market (customer service, technical support,...) and they are constantly looking for employees with good knowledge of Dutch.
Also if you go to work in the Netherlands or Belgium speaking Dutch is a great asset.
To meet this demand, Niderlandika organizes Dutch courses for beginners (levels A1 and A2) and advanced learners (B1 and B2).
If you don’t want to follow a full course but just want to brush up certain language skills, or if you want to prepare for the annual exams of the CNaVT (Certificate Dutch as a Foreign Language), we will also gladly help you with that.
